CTV Live at 5 : Food Photography Feature

I was contacted by Vicki Bowe from CTV last week to be featured in a story about food photography on Live at 5. Interviewed by Kelland Sundahl yesterday morning at da Maurizio, I grabbed this shot of their Pavlova on the fly while cameraman Jim was shooting a few 'action' shots.

Calamari alla Gradese - Flash-fried calamari finished with tomato, sautéed garlic, crushed chilis, lemon and fresh Italian parsley

Arguably the best calamari in Halifax.

This shot was requested for a feature article with Rick Mercer in West Jet's in-flight magazine, in which he mentions da Maurizio's calamari as one of his favourite things to eat.
